Able Project will soon launch a new nationwide program.

Able Project Public Support
Able Project is proud to announce that its public support in 2005 did grow to 65.34%, an increase of over 32% since its inception in October 2002. Able Project has received funding, power wheelchairs, manual wheelchairs, hospital beds, various types of ramps, walkers and many other mobility and adaptive products to support its mission, to provide a network where people with disabilities and their loved ones can effortlessly research, compare, locate and obtain mobility and adaptive products, thereby helping them to lead more independent lives. Able Project offers two extensive programs: 1- Mobility and Adaptive Products Search for people with disabilities that have sufficient insurance and funding, and 2- Giving Program for low-income people with disabilities that have no insurance or funding sources. Products Search: Able Project's leased copyrighted program, Internet and database technology tool is an easy platform for people with disabilities and elderly to use from the comfort of their own home or office. Our program assists manufacturers to list their mobility and adaptive products ensuring that the most state-of-the-art and the most comprehensive inventory of mobility and adaptive products are available to the person in search of purchasing such products for their disabilities. If the search is successful, the client can at that time submit an on-line request, and our system will forward their request directly to the manufacturer or a provider in their area. The manufacturer or local provider will contact the clients for direct assistance, making an often a difficult process simple and convenient - a must for a person dealing with the daily challenges of a disability. Giving Program: Additionally, Able Project's Giving Program continues to help low income individuals with disabilities that have no insurance or financial resources to obtain basic mobility and adaptive products such as wheelchairs, scooters, and commode chairs. We receive donated products from community, manufacturers, and dealers, and then match products to those in need. Able Project has network to determine the specific physical need of the client, and the products are carefully tested to ensure they are in safe working condition. Further, Able Project has developed strategic partnership and collaboration with many manufacturers to purchase products for people with disabilities in need that have no other funding resources to obtain basic mobility and adaptive products required for their disabilities at 30% to 50% below retail price when there are no donated inventories available. Therefore, expanding the value of cash donations to help more people in need. Able Project has signed about 120 manufacturers to list their products for people with disabilities, and more than 80 dealers have registered with Able Project to assist clients with their purchases. Able Project website received over 1,800,000 hits from people with disabilities, medical professionals, schools, government agencies, and organizations that were searching for mobility and adaptive products nationwide in 2005. The organization expanded its collaborations with other non-profits and hospitals such as Valley Medical Center to help low-income families and elderly with disabilities. Able Project still relies on volunteers that amounted to approximately 3500 hours in 2005 that included a significant contribution by Mr. Arash Kouchesfehani, Able Project’s co-founder, for providing technical expertise in implementing Able Project technologies.

My health has been affected tremendously after surviving two cancer surgeries. Able Project helped me to regain my independence, and provided me with a seating walker. Kyle handled my case with care and attention, reviewed my needs, and evaluated my conditions. It was an excellent job done with care. Sincere thanks to the organization and Kyle's personal effort. Sincerely, Chiang ........." Mr. Kyle Smith, MPT, ATC is Able Project’s Chairman of The Giving Program subcommittee. Able Project works hard to provide mobility to those that are in need the most.
